We hired Millard Roofing to take a look at our roof after a bad hail storm. Justin A. has been wonderful to work with. Once we were approved for a new roof he got a team out quickly and when there was some water damage from unexpected rain he made sure it was taken care of. Last year, we had the unfortunate experience of a leaking skylight and I was blown away by their unmatched dedication to customerservice. Justin from Millard showed up promptly for our appointment, meticulously inspected our roof, and discovered hail damage – a testament to their attention to detail.However, the real challenge arose with our insurance company's estimate, which included a shocking denial letter despite our consistent premium payments. The denial cited policy language that demanded claims be filed within 1 year of the date of loss, a detail we were unaware of and dont' believe any layman could meet this obligation. Our insurance company did not inform us of any event that occurred at our home, so how would we know without a leak? It felt like we were being penalized for an unforeseen event that is covered under our policy. Even though we reported the damage when we found out about it our insurance company is claiming that it was 1 week too late.Through this trying time, Millard Roofing was our pillar of support, encouraging us and affirming the legitimate damage to our property. They replaced our roof, skylight, and gutters with remarkable craftsmanship.We are immensely grateful for their guidance and are now prepared to take our insurance provider to court.I can't recommend Millard Roofing enough – for not only their superior workmanship but more importantly, their unwavering compassion and backing when facing insurance adversity.
